Mohammad bin Al-Faraj teaching him the best that is to be read in prayers Al-Qader and Al-Ikhlas chapters. Yet I feel distressed when reciting them at dawn." The Imam (Pbuh) said: " You shouldn’t
feel distressed, all the virtue is in them."
Mohammad bin Ali bin Al-Hussein states in Thawab Al-A'amal Book: Abi Al-Hassan Al-Abdi reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "He who recites Al-Ikhlas and Al-Qader chapters and Al-Kursi Verse in every Raka'a, Allah gives him rewards greater than the worship acts of all humans except who did like him or recited more."
Mohammad bin Ali bin Al-Hussein states in Thawab Al-A'amal Book: Mansour bin Hazim reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "It is a duty imposed over every believer who is a follower of us to read Al-Mulk Chapter in Friday eve, on Friday and in noon prayer along with Al-Munafiqeen Chapter. Doing that is as if he is working the work of the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) and Allah will reward him with heaven."
Mohammad bin Ali bin Al-Hussein states in Thawab Al-A'amal Book: Ibn Abi Al-Alaa' reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "He who recites Al-Kafiroun and Al-Ikhlas Chapters in a regular prayer, Allah forgives him, his parents and their children and if he was to be miserable he is changed to be happy. Allah will make hip live happily, die as a martyr and Allah will resurrect him as a martyr."
Mohammad bin Ali bin Al-Hussein states in Thawab Al-A'amal Book: Abou Baseer reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "He who recites Al-Balad chapter in his regular prayer shall be known to be among the righteous in Donia, he will be known to have a great rank in the sight of Allah, and he will be a companion of the prophets, witnesses and the righteous ones on Resurrection Day."
Mohammad bin Ali bin Al-Hussein states in Thawab Al-A'amal Book: Abi Obeida Al-Hathaa' reported from Imam Abou Jaa'far (Pbuh) that he said: "He who prays Al-Watr Prayer reciting Al-Ikhlas, Al-Nas, and Al-Falaq chapters will be told: "O servant of Allah, Allah accepted your Watr prayer."
Al-Amali Book:Zaid Al-Shaham reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "He who recites in the first two Raka'as of the predawn prayer Al-Ikhlas chapter sixty times, thirty times in each Raka'a shall have all his sins remitted by Allah when he finishes."
Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi states in Al-Tah'dheeb Book: Al-Harith and Ali Ibn Al-No'man reported: "I heard the Imam (Pbuh) say: "Al-Ikhlas is one third of Quran, Al-Kafiroon is One fourth of Quran. The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) used to recite Al-Ikhlas in Al-Watr so that he completes all the Quran.""
Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi states in Al-Tah'dheeb Book: Abdel-Rahman bin Al-Hajjaj reported that he asked Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) about the chapters to be read in Al-Watr prayer. He (Pbuh) said: " There was a door between me and my father. When my father used to recite Al-Ikhlas in each three of them and when he finishes he used to say: "This is how Allah my lord is.""
Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi states in Al-Tah'dheeb Book: Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) said: "He who recites in the first two Raka'as of the predawn prayer Al-Fatiha chapter once and Al-Ikhlas chapter thirty times in each Raka'a shall have all his sins remitted by Allah when he finishes."
Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi states in Al-Tah'dheeb Book: Mohammad bin Abi Talha reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "I recite Al-Ikhlas and Al-Kafiroun chapters in the dawn prayer. The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) used to do that."
Al-Misbah Book: Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) said: "If you want to pray the predawn prayer on Friday Eve, recite in the first Raka'a Al-Fatiha and Al-Ikhlas. In the second recite Al-Fatiha and Al-Kafiroun. In the third recite Al-Fatiha and Al-Sajda. In the fourth, Al-Fatiha and Al-Muddathir. In the fifth, Al-Fatiha and Fussilat. In the sixth, Al-Fatiha and Al-Mulk. In the seventh Al-Fatiha and Yaseen. In the eighth Al-Fatiha and Al-Waqi'a. Then you pray Al-Watr with Al-Falaq, Al-Nas, and Al-Ikhlas."
Foqoh Al-Imam Al-Rida Book:Imam Rida (Pbuh) said: " recite in the dawn prayer Al-Mursalat and Al-Takweer chapters, in the noon prayer Al-Infitar and Al-Zalzala, in the afternoon prayer Al-Adiat and Al-Qaria and in the sunset prayer Al-Teen and Al-Ikhlas."
Foqoh Al-Imam Al-Rida Book:Imam Rida (Pbuh) said: " You recite in all your prayers on Friday and on Friday even Al-Joma'a,, Al-Munafiqeen and Al-A'ala chapters.
Foqoh Al-Imam Al-Rida Book:Imam Rida (Pbuh) said: " recite in the dawn prayer -till he said- on Friday and Friday even Al-Joma'a and Al-Munafiqeen chapters."
Foqoh Al-Imam Al-Rida Book: Imam Rida (Pbuh) said: " recite in the dawn prayer on Friday Al-Joma'a chapter in the first Raka'a and Al-Munafiqeen in the second."
Abou Abdellah Al-Sayari states in Al-Tanzeel Wal-Tahreef Book: Moawia bin Ammar reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "Recite Al-Kafiroun chapter in the regular obligated prayers and in the other prayers."
Da'aem Al-Islam Book:Imam Jaa'far Bin Mohammad (Pbuh) said: "You can read in the noon and the night prayer Al-Mursalat and Al-Takweer. In the afternoon prayer you can read Al-Adiat and Al-Qaria. In the sunset prayer, you can read Al-Ikhlas and Al-Fateh. You can read the long chapters in the dawn prayer; the medium chapters in the noon and night prayers. In the afternoon and sunset prayers you can read the short ones."
Al-Sheikh Abou Mohammad Jaa'far bin Ahmad Al-Qummi states in Al-Arous Book: Abi Al-Sabbah Al-Kanani reported that from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: " On Friday eve, recite Al-Joma'a and Al-Ikhlas chapters in the sunset prayer. In the night prayer, recite Al-Joma'a and Al-A'ala chapters. Pray the dawn prayer with Al-Joma'a and Al-Ikhlas, the noon prayer with Al-Joma'a an dAl-Munafiqeen and in the afternoon prayer recite Al-Joma'a and Al-Ikhlas."
Al-Sheikh Abou Mohammad Jaa'far bin Ahmad Al-Qummi states in Al-Arous Book: Imam Abou Abdellah Al-Sadiq (Pbuh) said: " Recite in the night prayer on Friday eve Al-Joma'a and Al-Hasher chapters."
Al-Sheikh Abou Mohammad Jaa'far bin Ahmad Al-Qummi states in Al-Arous Book: Imam Abou Abdellah Al-Sadiq (Pbuh) said: "On Friday eve it is preferred to recite Al-Joma'a and Al-Munafiqeen chapters in night prayer, dawn prayer, noon prayer and afternoon prayer."
Ahmad bin Ali bin Abi Talib Al-Tabrasi states in Al-Ihtijaj Book: Imam Zaman (Pbuh) wrote to Mohammad bin Abdellah bin Jaa'far Al-Humeiry reporting from Imam Ali Al-Rida (Pbuh) that he said: "I wonder how the prayer of he who doesn’t recite Al-Qader Chapter is accepted" "No prayer is purified unless Al-Ikhlas is recited in it."
He asked: "It was narrated that he who reads Al-Humaza chapter earns rewards as much as Donia. So can we read Al-Humaza and don’t read these chapters that prayers aren’t accepted or purified without it.
The Imam (Pbuh): "The reward of this chapter is as it was said. If one didn’t read a certain chapter so that he reads Al-Ikhlas and Al-Qader chapters, he will earn the rewards of what he read and the chapter that he didn’t read. You can read other than these two chapters and your prayer will be considered complete but by that you have spared what is greater."
Al-Sayyid Ibn Tawous states in Falah Al-Sa'il Book: Ismaeel bin Abdel-Khaliq bin Abed-Rabbih reported from Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) that he said: "My father used to pray two Raka'a after the night prayer while sitting. He used to recite one hundred verses in them. He used to say: "He who prays this prayer and recites the verses shall never be unaware."
Ismaeel bin Abdel-Khaliq said: "He used to recite Al-Waqi'a and Al-Ikhlas chapters in them.
Al-Sayyid Ibn Tawous states in Falah Al-Sa'il Book: Mohammad bin Al-Faraj reported that he wrote to the Imam (Pbuh) asking him about the greatest chapters to be read in prayer.
The Imam (Pbuh) replied: "The greatest chapters to be read in prayers are Al-Ikhlas and Al-Qadr."
