43ـ رسولُ اللهِِ (صَلَّيَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِهِ): إنَّ في المَعاريضِ ما يُغني الرجُلَ العاقِلَ عنِ الكذبِ. |
| 43– The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘The intelligent man can free himself from lying by using the contexts of his speech.’[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 8253] |

44ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) ـ لمّا سَألَهُ عبدُاللّهِ بنُ بكيرٍ عنِ الرجُلِ يُستَأذَنُ علَيهِ فيقولُ لِجاريَتِهِ قُولي: ليسَ هُو هاهُنا ؟ ـ لا بَأسَ، ليسَ بكذبٍ. |
| 44– Imam al-Sadiq (AS), when `Aabdullah b. Bukayr asked him about a person who wants to visit him and he tells his servant to say: ‘He is not here’ [and whether that is permissible], replied, ‘There is no problem, it is not lying.’[Mustazrafat al-Sara`ir, p. 137, no. 1] |
