Abou Abdellah (pbuh) said that the Messenger of Allah (pbuhp) said: "I would have ordered my nation to use Miswak prior to every prayer, but I did not want to burden it."

Abou Abdellah (pbuh) said: "The Miswak has twelve qualities. It is a tradition. It purifies the mouth, clears vision, contents the Lord, whitens the teeth, drives away cavities, strengthens the gum, prevents mucus, enhances the memory, increases good deeds and delights the angels."
